Joy To The World - Three Dog Night

Yet, another classic from 70's.
The song starts with a very intriguing lyric; "Jeromiah was a bullfrog..."
You don't hear that very often.

Anyway,
"Joy to the world~"
I'm with you, hippie-looking guy.

Everybody was Kung Fu Fighting~

For some reason, I just can't get this song out of my head.
The song was originally sung by Carl Douglas in 70's and there are a whole bunch of remix versions on YouTube.
This one is from the show "Scrubs" where Todd 'betrayal fives' Turk.

Sugarhill Gang - Rapper's Delight

Classic old school
'Wonder Mike', 'Master Gee', and 'Big Bank Hank'.
I wish I had a cool hip-hop name like them.

Hmmm, how about 'Wonder Speaker', 'Master Geek', or 'Tiny Bank Hobo'.
Oh, who am I kidding.

I remeber the episode of 'Scrubs' where the 'Sugarhill Gang' is an alarm clock and they sing 'Rapper's Delight' as an alarm sound.
How cool would that be!

Man...you can find anything on YouTube.

Is It Over? --- Yes, It Is Over.

I just finished EOH final this morning and I'm officially done for the semester.
It's been a confusing yet, interesting semester and I feel like the things I learned from this semester will provide a strong foundation for my Public Health career ahead.
Anyway, I am due for some coma-like sleep.

The Talented Mr. JT

I don't like the guy but I must say he is pretty good.
Here is JT hosting SNL in just two minutes.
Talk about "stealing the show".

EPI 530 - Fall 2008 Done!

Captain Planet, give me a strength to get through it!

That's My Bush!

Instant classic.
Full story >> Angry Iraqi throws shoes at Bush in Baghdad - CNN.com

President Bush, left, ducks a thrown shoe as Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki tries to protect him Sunday.

Man...some people have balls the size of Crawford Ranch.

On CNN.com, the article reads,

"Among Muslims, throwing shoes at someone, or sitting so that the bottom of a shoe faces another person, is considered an insult."

I don't know about showing the bottom of a shoe but I'm pretty sure people wouldn't take a flying shoe kindly no matter what religion they follow.

And I must say President Bush still got cat like reflex.

Don't Let Your Kids Jump On A Bed

Have you ever wondered why Stewie has a football-shaped (not the cool, kicking around kind but the American kind) head?

Well...there you have it.

Planet in Peril - CNN Special (Africa, Zoonotic viruses, monkeypox)

Read the full story >>Tracking deadly viruses' spread from animals to humans - CNN.com

Hunters facing food shortages in Central Africa push deep into forests for food, exposing themselves to viruses.

Coy contracted monkeypox through contact with bush meat.
She'll be quarantined for weeks -- there's no cure.

Dr. Nathan Wolfe tracks zoonotic viruses, potentially deadly viruses, passed from animals to humans.

  • Faced with limited food sources, Central Africans are forced to kill "bush meat"
  • Hunters are exposed to potentially deadly zoonotic viruses that spread around world
  • HIV, which causes AIDS, was most prolific, deadliest zoonotic passed to humans
  • Pandemics can be prevented before they're spread globally, says Dr. Nathan Wolfe
Story and photos from CNN.com (http://www.cnn.com/2008/WORLD/africa/12/08/pip.zoonotics/index.html, updated 11:56 a.m. EST, Tue December 9, 2008).

It is a powerful story featuring one of the brightest minds in the field of public health.
Imagine being forced to feed on food that is potentially full of deadly viruses.
It really puts me in a new perspective about the things I learn at the school and the field of public health itself.

wouldn't it be an epidemic though... pandemic means it has already spread globally.
just a thought

i - i Bring the FIRE!

Let It Rock (2008)

Cool song.
Now, Lil Wayne is bigger than ever (no pun intended).
Blow off some steam
"because when I arrive, I - I bring the smiles make your life thrive..."

BIOS 500 - Fall 2008

Here's a test.

H0: I still care.
HA: Haha. You know I don't give a rat's cute little butt.

Result:
At any significance level, I'm so statistically or non-statistically
done with this class.
But if I have to take this course again, I would choose Paul over
anyone out there. (Yes, including you, Bernard)

백지영 - 총맞은 것처럼

7집/Sensibility

섬뜩한 제목이 더 가슴아리게 하는 노래
수시로 총맞은 걸 자랑하고 다니는 어두운 랩퍼 아저씨들이
이 노랠 들으면 무슨 생각을 할까...
"Girrrrrrl~ you mad? being shot at is a b*tch."...ㅎㅎ
Crown J 영어가 생각이 나네...ㅎㅎ

Hot Fuzz (2004)

Beijing Olympic 때 Nike 선전에도 쓰였던 후렴구가 인상적인 노래

Two more finals to go and I'm thinking "I got soul but I'm not a soldier."

Journey - Don't Stop Believin'

Escape (1981)

A guilty pleasure...
When you are feeling down, crank up the volume and just listen.
That leopard shirt and the crouch pants are got to go though...
